Three finalists confirmed

BoHyun Park defeated Farida Abdueva by unanimous decision in Shanghai on August 28, with all three judges scoring the women’s strawweight semifinal 29–28. Ryo Tajima then advanced in the bantamweight bracket by unanimous decision over Chungreng Koren, 30–27, 29–28 and 29–28.

Dagiisuren Chagnaadorj secured the first finish of the published semifinal results, submitting YoungJae Song with a rear-naked choke at 2:51 of round one in their featherweight bout.

How the wins developed

The UFC report credits Abdueva with the better work in the opening round before Park found a late takedown and carried that adjustment through the final two rounds. Tajima settled into range after Koren’s forceful start and won the judges with more precise, higher-volume striking. Chagnaadorj changed levels immediately, moved to Song’s back and finished the choke before the midpoint of the opening round.

The bracket remains live

Park is scheduled to face the winner of Meng Bo vs. Machi Fukuda. Tajima awaits the winner of Kasib Murdoch vs. Rabindra Dhant, while Chagnaadorj awaits Ahejiang Ailinuer vs. George Mangos. Fight Atlas will not name those opponents or alter their records until UFC publishes each completed result.
