The confirmed title fight

Legacy Fighting Alliance announced on August 27 that Jake Woodley will face Zayne Havener for the interim LFA middleweight championship in the main event of LFA 244 on Friday, October 23, at the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Why the interim belt is open

LFA says reigning middleweight champion Joe Kropschot earned a UFC contract through the 2026 Contender Series season. The promotion's announced card therefore labels Woodley–Havener as an interim championship bout; Fight Atlas will not mark either fighter as champion before an official result.

LFA lists Woodley at 8–1 and Havener at 6–2. Those announced records and the title designation are verified as of August 27, but no professional record or championship lineage changes until the promotion publishes the completed result.
