How the Atlas path is built

One bout becomes one edge

Every verified fighter identity is a point in the graph. A source-listed professional bout creates a two-way connection between the two opponents.

The shortest route wins

A breadth-first search checks documented opponents layer by layer and returns the first route found, up to six degrees.

Coverage stays visible

Strength-of-opposition context uses only opponents whose full records are already compiled. The coverage count appears beside the percentage.

No prediction is implied

The tool does not forecast fights, rank athletes or turn shared opponents into a claim about who is better.
